About
A referral service connecting South Shore homeowners with licensed local HVAC contractors.
Ductless Mini-Split Quincy is a referral service. Homeowners in Quincy, Milton, Braintree, and Weymouth come to us looking for ductless mini-split installation or repair, and we connect them with a licensed, independent local HVAC contractor who does that work.
We want to be clear about what that means, because plenty of sites in this space aren’t: we don’t install anything ourselves. There’s no crew, no truck fleet, and no warehouse behind this site. What there is instead is a narrow focus on one type of system in four specific towns, and enough working knowledge of both to be useful before you ever talk to a contractor.
Ductless mini-splits are a genuinely good fit for South Shore housing, and homeowners here consistently arrive at the same three questions: does this actually work in a house like mine, what will it cost, and what rebate can I get.
The first two have reasonably consistent answers. The third does not — and that’s the specific gap this site was built to close.
Three of the four towns we cover fall under Mass Save like most of Massachusetts. Braintree doesn’t, because it’s served by its own municipal light plant, which puts it outside Mass Save’s electric heat pump rebates entirely and under a separate program with different qualifying equipment. It’s a real distinction with real money attached, and we found it repeatedly stated wrong or skipped altogether on sites covering this area. Our heat pump rebate guide lays out what applies where.
You call or submit an estimate request. We pass your information to a licensed contractor who covers your town, and they contact you directly to schedule a site visit and produce a real quote. There’s no charge to you for the referral.
The contractor is independent. They hold their own license and insurance, they set their own pricing, and they stand behind their own work. We’re not their employer and we don’t supervise their jobs. The full arrangement is spelled out in our Referral Marketing Disclosure — worth two minutes of reading before you submit anything.
You won’t find fabricated technician bios, a made-up founder’s story, or claimed years-in-business on this site, because none of that would be true of a referral service.
No 24/7 claims, no guaranteed same-day service. Response time depends on the contractor’s schedule, and we’re not going to pretend otherwise.
The cost ranges on this site come from Mass Save’s published figures and are meant for planning. Only a contractor who has seen your house can quote your job.
Call and ask. We’d rather answer it than have you guess.
